How to Give Yourself a Soothing Facial Massage

That feels good! Five easy steps to calm down and relax. The gentle movements of a soothing facial massage help to reduce stress and muscle tension.

Spread a few drops of skin care oil on your palms. Massage calmly and slowly for maximum relaxation. Accompany your movements by consciously inhaling and exhaling.

Our 5-Step Facial Massage

Step 1: Stimulate circulation - Gently place both hands on the face and stroke outwards towards the ears, gently and without pressure.

Step 2: Pamper and relax - Place the fingertips of both hands at the temples and make slow steady circles from front to back, without pressure.

Step 3: Harmonize and soothe - Smooth out the forehead. Place one hand on the forehead and pull it back gently across the forehead. Repeat with the other hand, moving in the opposite direction.

Step 4: Relax the eye muscles and smoothen wrinkles - Use your fingertips to stroke without pressure around your eyes, from the root of the nose up over the eyebrow arch. Then, without pulling on the skin, stroke in the other direction, from the outer to the inner corner of the eyes.

Step 5: Relax and harmonize - Spread out your fingers and slide your hand gently over the mouth area. Repeat in the other direction using the other hand.

Extra Tip: a Self-Care Ritual to Feel Good

Evening Relaxation Ritual

Revitalize your face with an ear massage. This promotes circulation and is wonderfully relaxing, with a slight, pleasant tingling feeling that lasts for a short while. Place your hands against the cheeks and ears. Spread your middle and ring fingers to make a “v” and stroke up and down along the sides of the ear, applying light pressure.
